Glycerin Oil
Glycerin oil, also known as Glycerol, is made by combining water with fat from vegetable oil which results in a clear liquid that is soluble in both alcohol and water.
Glycerin oil contains humectants, which attract water from the air. This makes it useful to use on the skin as it hydrates, retains moisture, and protects the skin during dry weather. It makes the skin soft and supple and acts as a barrier to protect it from microbes and pollutants.
Glycerin oil can be used topically to treat skin conditions, like acne, eczema, dermatitis, dry skin, burns, redness and inflammation, and fine lines and wrinkles.
Directions for use
Glycerin oil can be rubbed directly into the skin, or applied to a cotton ball and dabbed onto affected areas. It may feel oily about first but will soon be absorbed into the skin and leave it feeling soft and hydrated.
Apply glycerin oil as needed to treat burns and relieve irritation. You can also apply a small amount of glycerin oil around the nose and in the nostrils to treat dryness and congestion.
