This Middle Eastern Cookbook is packed with over 300 pages of recipes for you to enjoy. In 1976 a group of women from Ramallah got together and combined a wealth of Middle Eastern culinary knowledge, creating this book which is still being praised today.
The recipes in this book are mainly Lebanese, Palestinian, and Syrian. The book features 16 chapters ranging from main appetizers to desserts and everything in between. Sahtein cookbook also has a dictionary of herbs, spices, and nuts helping those who are not so familiar with the Arabic style of cooking. It also has helpful hints, suggested menus, and a table of data and measurements with equivalents and possible substitutions.
