When you cut yourself shaving simply dry the affected area and rub some Alum on it and the blood instantly clots and stops bleeding. We have also had a lot of success with Alum in treating eczema. Just grind or crush the Alum to a powder then mix it with a hypoallergenic lotion and lay the mixture onto the affected areas for 15 minutes or longer if necessary.
