Barley Oil
Barley oil, cold-pressed from barley seeds during the milling process, its a nutrient-dense oil that contains iron, calcium, zinc, magnesium, copper, B vitamins, vitamin E and vitamin C.
This oil is rich in anti-oxidants called phytosterols, and tocotrienols which are part of the vitamin E family. When taken internally, barley oil may help to reduce cholesterol levels, lower heart disease risk, improve blood sugar levels, reduce inflammation and treat digestive symptoms.
Barley oil is a good source of linoleic acid, or omega 6 fatty acid, which gives it hydrating and anti-inflammatory properties. Along with the high levels of vitamin E, this makes barley oil great for treating acne, dry skin, eczema and psoriasis, scars, sunburn and sun damage.
