Jameed is a defatted and dehydrated yogurt most commonly used in the popular Jordanian dish called “Mansaf”. Mansaff is a dish made from arabic rice, jameed and either lamb or chicken. This jameed is in a shelf stable liquid form and makes the mansaf cooking process a breeze.
