Osfer is Safflower flowers and is used in cooking as a substitute for the much more expensive spice saffron. Its sometime called “Bastard Saffron” and is shunned upon by saffron fans. It has a very unique flavor and a little goes a long way. You will enjoy the taste and aroma it brings to your meals.
